Google Bard AI chatbot released to approved testers for feedback

Google is gearing up to take on GPT-4 with Bard chatbot's release to testers.

Google has released its new AI chatbot Bard to approved testers in the UK and the USA.

The technology relies on generative AI and allows users to collaborate and input feedback. The release follows GPT 4 from Microsoft-backed OpenAI and is part of a race in the technology sector to incorporate AI into more users' software.

At present, Bard's question and answer accuracy can be unreliable, however, Google is aiming to be "very deliberate" in the pace at which it rolls the service out to users.
