Priyanka Gandhi launched an all out attack on the UP govt after a 19-year-old, who was gangraped in UP's Hathras, died on Tuesday. The Congress General Secretary said that law and order in Uttar Pradesh has deteriorated to a great extent and there is no semblance of safety for women as criminals are committing crimes in the open. Directly addressing the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Priyanka said that he was accountable for the safety of women in the state. She also said that the Dalit girl was victim of demoniac behaviour and kept struggling between life and death in hospitals for 2 weeks.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also attacked the govt while condoling the death of the girl and said that there was no hope left from the 'present insensitive govt'.
