It's 'monkey business' as usual in Uttar Pradesh. A group of monkeys in Meerut snatched and ran away with blood samples from a lab technician on Friday, news agency ANI reported. According to the Principal of Meerut Medical College, they were not Covid-19 swab tests but blood samples being taken for routine tests. A viral video allegedly of the incident posted on Twitter shows a monkey chewing on some medical equipment. The video has created apprehension among locals for the spread of infectious disease in the area via monkeys.
