On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, and many others took to their social media on Thursday and remembered those who lost their lives in the carnage. On November 26, 2008, 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan arrived by sea route in Mumbai and opened fire indiscriminately, killing 166 people and injuring 300 others. Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter that 26/11 is a day Mumbaikars will never forget. Actors Ranvir Shorey and Raveena Tandon also prayed for the victims and martyrs of the attack, saying they will never forget their sacrifice.
