South Africa have dealt a 9-wicket blow to Sri Lanka's chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup. Kagiso Rabada set the tone for the match with the very first ball as he sent Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunaratne back to the pavilion. From there on the Proteas bowlers kept the Lankan batting line-up on tenterhooks by taking regular wickets. Dwaine Pretorious and Chris Morris took 3 wickets each as Sri Lanka was bowled out for 203. Captain Faf du Plessis and Hashim Amla played brilliant innings of 96 and 80 runs respectively to lead South Africa to just their 2nd victory in the tournament.
