World Cup 2019: Pakistan win a nail biter vs Afghanistan to stay alive

Afghanistan almost spoilt Pakistan's chances of booking a birth in the semi finals of the 2019 World Cup, but the men in green kept their nerve to edge out their neighbours by 3 wickets in a nail biter on Saturday. Pakistan's 3rd consecutive win helped them stay alive in the tournament. Chasing mere 228, Pakistani fans had their hearts in the mouth when Sarfaraz's men were reduced to 156/6. But Imad Wasim emerged as the hero. He kept his cool and guided his side to victory in the last over with a match winning 49 not out. Courtesy which, Pakistan have now climbed to the 4th spot.
