Women's World T20: India beat New Zealand to enter the semifinals

After a few nervous moments right at the end, Team India powered through to reach the semifinals of the Women's World T20 in Melbourne on Thursday. Shafali Verma once again played a whirlwind knock of 46 off 34 balls at the top to power India to 133/8. Rest of the batters failed to impress but the bowlers came to the party to help India. In reply, New Zealand were almost out of the game but a late surge in the final two overs almost got the White Ferns to finish line. Eventually, India won by 4 runs and qualified for their 2nd straight World T20 semifinals.
