With Olympics ahead, Japan tests full-capacity stadium

Oct 31, 2020 16:23 IST

Yokohama's baseball stadium will be opened in full capacity for the weekend's professional baseball game. Officials will be using high tech devices to find out if all 32,000 seats of the stadium can be fully occupied amid the virus scare. This experiment will serve as a testing ground for higher capacity limits for the Summer Games next year. The Yokohama Baseball stadium will be used as a venue for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics that begins on July 23, next year.
