The ITC Maurya hotel on Sardar Patel Marg in Delhi has turned into a fortress as it prepares to receive the US President. Potus along with Flotus will be staying at the Grand Presidential Suite or the Chanakya Suite at the luxury hotel. Trump's daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner will also be staying at the same hotel. The Chanakya Suite spans about 4,600 sq ft, and costs a whopping Rs 8,00,000 a night. The opulent suite boasts of silk panelled walls, dark wood flooring, a huge bathroom with mother of pearl accessories, a spa and even a gym. It also has a peacock themed 12-seater private dining room, along with the living quarters. The Trumps will have valets waiting hand and foot, led by the presidential butler. The US First Couple will also be provided with their own private chef. Reports say the Chanakya suite has already been stocked up with Diet Coke and Cherry Vanilla ice-cream, two of the President's favourites. Interestingly, ITC Maurya is the only hotel in India that offers indoor air quality at par with WHO standards.
