Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has threatened to hang himself if the police tries to arrest the protesting farmers. His statement came after Ghaziabad officials gave an ultimatum to the farmers groups to vacate Ghazipur border by Thursday night. Tikait who heads one of the units of Bharatiya Kisan Union also said that they will continue their protest irrespective of the police action. While addressing the farmers Tikait alleged that BJP had sent goons to the protest side to beat them up.
