Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has given rise to a new travel trend called the workation, which has people opting to work from destinations that they would generally visit for a holiday!
Countries are making arrangements to lure such tourists. Dubai is the latest one to jump on the bandwagon.
Dubai is now offering 'one year virtual working programme' which will allow remote workers and their families to stay in the city for a year while working for their respective organisations.
However, there are certain applied conditions. You must prove that you draw a salary of Rs 3,69,319 per month, by submitting proof. The tourism board's website also adds that you would be required to pay a fee of Rs 21,204.59 and have a medical insurance valid in the UAE among other things.
