Watch: NASA images shows heatwave in country

As the world battles an ongoing pandemic, temperatures have been soaring over the past one month in northern parts of the country and a comparative study done by NASA in the past 30 days shows just how bad the situation is. Pictures released by the American Space outfit show a blanket of red and yellow over the country. The heatwave has engulfed almost all of north and central India, with most places in the region recording temperatures more than 47 degrees Celsius every day for the past week.
