Suryakumar Yadav not getting to punch his ticket to Australia left cricket fraternity shocked and the youngster has opened up on how he felt when the team was announced. Surya, who was in UAE playing the IPL, told India Today that he was disappointed as he has been scoring a lot of runs in white-ball cricket over the last 2 years and not just in the IPL alone. He was hence expecting to be picked in the limited overs squads. Suryakumar added that when the team was announced, he couldn't even complete his training in the gym as he was disappointed. He didn't feel like having dinner that night and wasn't speaking much with anybody. The 30-year-old ended as the 3rd-highest run-getter for Mumbai Indians this season with 480 runs at an average of 40.
