'Vote katwa' an insult to my father: Chirag Paswan

Oct 18, 2020 18:52 IST

Chirag Paswan on Sunday said that he was deeply hurt by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi's remark that LJP was a 'vote katwa' or a vote-cutter party and it is not an insult to the party but to his late father Ram Vilas Paswan. On Friday, Sushil Kumar Modi had said that LJP walked out of the alliance because it wanted more seats and that the 'vote-divider' party does not want BJP to come to power in Bihar. LJP chief Chirag Paswan also said that he is open to criticism from BJP leaders and that they are only following coalition dharma by attacking him to satisfy their ally Nitish Kumar.
