Not too long ago, Volvo had confirmed that the Volvo XC40 Recharge will make its way to India in 2021. Now, the company has showcased the model in India and announced that its deliveries will commence in October. Pre-launch bookings for the Volvo XC40 Recharge India will commence in June. For the uninitiated, the XC40 Recharge is Volvo’s first all-electric SUV and was revealed globally in October 2019. Powering the XC40 2021 India is a 78kWh battery pack, which works in union with two motors – one on each axle. The car develops 402bhp and 660Nm, which allows it to cross the 100km/h mark in just 4.9 seconds. Watch our Volvo XC40 Recharge review to find out more about the car.
