Indian wrestling star Vinesh Phogat on Sunday stunned the 2017 world champion V Kaladzinskay to win the gold medal at the Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial tournament. This was the first-ever tournament for Vinesh after the Covid-19 induced break. Fighting in the 53kg final, Vinesh took a 4-0 lead but the Belarusian wrestler fought back to lead again. In the dying moments of the bout, Vinesh fought hard and pinned her opponent to win the bout 10-8 and secure the gold.
