A Chennai techie has been credited with finding the debris of Chandrayaan-2's Vikram Lander on Moon's south pole. Shanmuga Subramanian, an engineer and computer programmer, used lunar images from Nasa's orbiter between September and November and studied them for weeks o locate the debris of the lander. Shanmuga then wrote to Nasa with his discovery and the agency confirmed his discovery. The international agency gave Shanmuga credit for his discovery when it released images of Vikram Lander's debris on Tuesday.
