Venkaiah breaks down while remembering friend Jaipal Reddy

It was an emotional moment for Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu as he read out the obituary of late Congress leader and friend Jaipal Reddy in the Rajya Sabha. He broke down while reminiscing his days as an Andhra legislator when he shared a bench with Jaipal Reddy. The Rajya Sabha chairman recounted how both of met for breakfast everyday at 7am before the assembly proceedings started and held discussions on various issues. Jaipal Reddy died on Sunday aged 77 in Hyderabad. He was elected to the Lok Sabha five times and was also a 2-time Rajya Sabha MP.
