Tamil Nadu DGP T.K.Rajendran has ordered to the police department to intensify the scrutiny of vehicles till 1st of January from today. As per the order, additional security will be provided in crowded areas and personnel from armed forces will be placed round the clock in important railway stations. Susceptible persons will be enquired and the information gathered from the inquiry will be sent to the headquarters.
