Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy agreed to a new one-year contract extension on Wednesday. The former English international has been rewarded after he scored a stunning 23 goals to win the Premier League's golden boot last season. The deal will take Vardy to 2023 after his original contract was till 2022 as the 33-year-old joined from Fleetwood in 2012. Vardy has been phenomenal for the Foxes and has netted 103 goals in 211 Premier League appearances & is fourth in the club's scoring charts. Leicester City starts their new Premier League campaign with an opening game against West Brom on 12th September.
