US won't be the world's policeman: Trump confirms Syria pullout

US President Donald Trump has confirmed his decision to withdraw US troops from Syria and said that his country cannot be the world's policeman. Some 2,000 US soldiers are deployed as part of an international coalition fighting the Islamic State terrorist group in Syria. President Trump said, "I made it clear from the beginning that our mission in Syria was to strip ISIS of its military strongholds. We're not nation building. Rebuilding Syria will require a political solution."
