UP govt's ₹5.5-lakh cr budget allocates ₹300 cr for Ayodhya's Ram Mandir construction

The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government presented its last budget in the state assembly with an outlay of ₹5,50,270 crore on Monday. The government presented the paper-less budget for the first time and in terms of the size, it is the largest and historic budget so far.

A budget of ₹300 crore has been earmarked for the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and the access road to Ayodhya Dham. Besides that, a provision of ₹100 crore has been proposed for the development and beautification of tourism facilities in Ayodhya.
