The government on Monday announced fresh guidelines as part of Unlock 2.0. The govt said that the lockdown in containment zones will continue till July 31. Schools, colleges, educational institutions and coaching centres, cinemas, religious shrines, gyms, international air travel and metro services will remain closed till the end of July. Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic and cultural functions and other large congregations remain prohibited. The govt has also specified night curfew rules under Unlock 2.0. Movement of individuals shall remain strictly prohibited between 10 pm to 5 am throughout the country, except for essential activities, including operations of industrial unit in multiple shifts, movement of persons and goods on National State Highways, loading and unloading of cargo and travel of persons to their destination after disembarking from buses, trains and airplanes.
