As the current season of football is on the knife-edge, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin looking at the possible solutions for the leagues and clubs said that the season could be lost if not restarted by the end of June. While saying that the rest of the season could be played in empty stadiums, Ceferin also said that they were looking to resume the games either from mid-May, in June or at the end of June. Just like all football in England has been suspended until April 30, most sporting events across the globe have taken a hit by either getting postponed or cancelled due to the global outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
