Champions League: an injury PSG won't be worried about

Aug 12, 2020 09:38 IST

Paris St Germain's manager Thomas Tuchel hobbled along as his team practised ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal tie vs Italian side Atalanta in Lisbon. Some good news for PSG fans as their star forward Kylian Mbappe was seen on the pitch before the game and could make a return after an injury almost 3 weeks ago in the French Cup final. Atalanta might be considered as minnows but PSG won't be taking any chances as the new format of the Champions League due to the Covid-19 pandemic makes it even more unpredictable. There are no 2nd legs and all matches from now on are knockouts. The French side will be going all out to register a win with Mbappe, Neymar & Icardi as they are looking to secure their first European Cup semi-final spot since the 1994-95 season.
