A twin-bomb attack at a church in Philippines has killed 20 people and injured 81. Reports said that the first blast happened as Sunday Mass was celebrated at a Roman Catholic cathedral on Jolo island, which is a predominantly Muslim area. As soldiers responded, a second device was detonated in the parking lot. Jolo Island has long been a base for Islamist militants.
