US President Donald Trump has fired shots at tech giant Apple for allegedly refusing to unlock two iPhones that were recovered during the investigation to a shooting in Florida last month. Trump tweeted that Apple was refusing to unlock phones used by criminals, despite receiving help in trade from his administration. Meanwhile, US Attorney General William Barr accused the California-based company of providing no "substantive assistance" to FBI in unlocking the devices. Apple, on the other hand has claimed that it constantly helped the FBI gain access to the shooter's phones, by giving iCloud data and account information. In the past too, the company has refused to compromise the local security of iOS devices by creating a backdoor in the system, citing that it could be misused by hackers.
