A woman forest ranger suffered injuries as TRS party workers attacked a police team and forest guards in Telangana's Asifabad on Saturday. The incident occurred as TRS workers tried to thwart a tree plantation drive on land that was allegedly encroached by their party leaders. The attack was reportedly led by the brother of local TRS MLA Koneru Konappa. The accused, Krishna, called the incident 'accidental,' and alleged that the Forest Department were terrorising adivasi farmers and confiscating their land. A case has been registered and the victim was admitted to the hospital.
