Ahead of the crucial October-November Bihar polls, NDA’s key ally, Chirag Paswan has issued an ultimatum, saying he will not hesitate to field candidates against Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal United JD. Paswan reportedly met BJP president JP Nadda on Monday and demanded a decision on seat sharing soon. The LJP has made it clear that if it doesn’t happen the party will field candidates on 143 out of 243 seats in Bihar. LJP leaders were against contesting elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. However, PM Modi has given his seal of approval to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar as the face of the NDA. After the seat-sharing talks failed to yield results, the NDA vs NDA scenario has become even more intense in the state with Paswan’s warning.
