Indian men's hockey team continued to make waves at the Tokyo Olympics as they stunned defending champions Argentina 3-1 in their Pool A game on Thursday. 

Varun Kumar put India ahead in the 3rd quarter before Argentina equalised in the 4th. But a goal each by Vivek Prasad and Hamranpreet Singh in the dying minutes powered India to a special victory.

With wins against New Zealand and Spain, India has won 3 of its 4 group matches so far, and are now through the quarterfinals. More vitally, they are now assured of second spot in Pool A.
