The famous Times Square New Year's eve ball is almost ready to welcome 2019 with a bang! The 12-feet ball is rolled out annually to ring in the new year. 192 new sparkling triangles made of Waterford crystal are being added to the sphere. Over 2,600 crystal triangles that vary in size have been used. The ball will descend 141 feet down a flagpole in 60 seconds and 2019 will be upon us!
