According to a new study published in the journal Obesity, people who make a note of what they eat for just a few minutes everyday are the ones who successfully lose those extra kilos. 150 people tracked what they ate for six months for the study. Those who lost the maximum amount of weight were the ones who spent just 15 minutes logging their daily intake. They recorded calories, fats and portion sizes for their meals and the simple act of self-monitoring made all the difference. 'Write it when you bite it' seems to be the motto!
