Mundal (Mundaal) in Norway has more books than people. With a population of only 280 people and over 150,000 books, it is often called the 'Norwegian Booktown'. All second-hand book stores have been integrated into cafes, restaurants and local stores. This small town has a tradition of preserving old books since 1995. If one combines the collection of all books in the village, it could stretch upto 2.5 miles!
