After a long wait, one-on-one voice and video calling features are now finally available on WhatsApp's desktop app for Windows and Mac.
The Facebook-owned messaging service in a tweet announced that end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls for its desktop app version were live, and also shared a link to download the app on your computer.
This comes as a relief to countless people sitting in front of their computers who have had to reach for their phone every time they got a WhatsApp notification.
The company said, answering to a phone call or video call on a bigger screen makes it easier to work with colleagues, see your family more clearly on a bigger canvas, or free up your hands to move around a room while talking.
