This Melbourne pop-up sparks outrage over 'controversial' burger

Feb 01, 2019 14:53 IST

A pop-up cafe in Melbourne has sparked outrage over a 'controversial' burger in their menu. The pop-up, Pablo’s Escoburgers, which is inspired by drug lord Pablo Escobar uploaded a photograph of its hamburger with a white powder over the bun and a fake, rolled up $100 bill. While the powder is actually garlic powder, resembling cocaine, the concept is facing outrage all over social media, and is being described as having 'poor taste'.
