You may have heard about airline miles and loyalty points from hotels but the island nation of Maldives is taking it a step further.&nbsp;
The Maldives is set to become the first country in the world to have its own hospitality loyalty program. Called 'Maldives Border Miles' program, it is directed at tourists and will reportedly have three tiers named Abaarana, Antara&nbsp;and Aida.&nbsp;
Tourists will earn points based on the number of visits and duration of stay. Additional points will be awarded for visits to celebrate special occasions, the official Maldives Immigration Twitter revealed.&nbsp;

To minimise the Covid&nbsp;risk, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in Nepal has issued a set of new guidelines for International tourists visiting the country for trekking and mountaineering activities.
According to a report in The Himalayan Times, an entry-permit or entry-visa is a must in the absence&nbsp;of a visa-provision from their respective countries along with a PCR test report not older than 72 hours that suggests the traveler&nbsp;is Covid-19 negative.
In addition, travellers must have booking documents that show the hotel they will be residing in, insurance papers that prove that they have an insurance of $5,000. All travellers will need to spend seven days at least in quarantine.
When in quarantine, travellers will be required to undergo a PCR test on the 5th day, at their own expense. If the test is positive, the quarantine will be extended.

Contactless e-ticketing services may soon be a possibility in all Delhi buses come November, a Hindustan Times report stated citing Delhi transport minister Kailash Gahlot.
The news comes after the transport department completed the second phase of its contactless ticket project.
In the second phase, a mobile app called 'Chartr' was trialled and received a good response. A system that enables users without smartphones&nbsp;to buy tickets and daily along with monthly passes is also in the pipeline, the report added.
The app will enable users to see all stops of the bus, its expected time of arrival and select a free pink ticket for female passengers. The time of arrival will get updated in real time.
