Legendary French chef and restaurateur Michel Roux, passed away at his home in Berkshire at the age of 78. Roux opened Britain's first three Michelin-starred restaurant, making gastronomic history. He battled a long-standing lung condition. He also opened The Waterside Inn in Bray, which continues to be the only restaurant in the world outside France to have retained three Michelin stars since 1985. Roux was also a prolific author and published 15 books during his career.
