The Mars rover parachute had a secret message on it & the Internet was quick to decode

The massive parachute that was used by NASA's Perseverance rover to land on the red planet, had a secret message inscribed on it but space enthusiasts online were quick to decode it!

The message was clearly by a puzzle lover, who used a binary code to spell out "Dare Mighty Things" on the stripes of the parachute.

It also included GPS coordinates for the mission's headquarters, which is at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. The team waited for the parachute images to come back, to put a teaser out during a media conference on the 23rd of February.

Once it was successfully decoded by the Internet, the team admitted they would have to be more creative next time!
