A multicultural organisation is showing us the eco-friendly way to deal with plastic waste. It has been creating 'Bottle Schools' for children in Latin America that are made with eco-bricks. Hug It Forward collects plastic bottles in the region, fills it with inorganic trash and uses them to build schools and classroom structures. The entire community is involved in the construction process and the organisation has built over 100 schools in the region. Rural areas lack the space and resources for educational institutions and this turns out to be a sustainable and inexpensive way to facilitate education as well as spread awareness around improved trash management methods.
