The bhoomi pujan ceremony in Ayodhya on Wednesday boasts of a massive guest list even amid social distancing norms and precautions that are being taken due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath, apart from saints and sages from across the country as well as Nepal. Senior BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi will join the programme via video conferencing. 175 eminent guests have been invited for the event, while 135 priests belonging to various spiritual traditions will also be present. Mohammad Yunus from Faizabad, who received the Padma Shri for performing last rites of unclaimed corpses, has also been invited. One of the main litigants in the Ayodhya land dispute case Iqbal Ansari has also been invited to the event.
