IBM is bringing in a revolutionary change in the world of fragrances. The tech giant aims to utilise the power of artificial intelligence to create perfumes. The scent algorithm called Philyra, which they have developed, studies existing fragrance formulas and compares it to other data like customer age. This will enable them to target specific segments in the market. Two AI based perfumes have already been sold and the numbers will increase by next year.
