The future of make-up: A portable 3D printer
The future of make-up is here. After years of research and development, a portable 3D printer called Mink is available for pre-order. The device can turn photographs into real, wearable cosmetics. No, it's not magic, but sheer science. The printer, which weighs about a kilogram can easily fit in your tote. It works by taking images submitted via the Mink application and printing them, using FDA-approved cosmetics, on special makeup sheets. Once printed, the make-up can be scraped off the sheet and used. The device costs about Rs 20,000 and will be ready for delivery by 2020.
