With an aim to promote yacht tourism, Thailand is allowing visitors to spend their mandatory 2-week Covid-19 quarantine in a yacht!
The initiative will also help revive the tourism sector of the country, which has been hit hard by the pandemic.
Those visiting Thailand with a negative Covid-19 test report can quarantine on board a yacht or a small cruise ship in Phuket.
Travellers will be given a 'smart wristband' that measures vital parameters like temperature and blood pressure.
A trial run of the program has already begun.
