According to the latest quarantine rules for foreign travellers in the UAE, the English & Australian cricketers are likely to miss the first week of the IPL. The new rules say that all foreign travellers will have to undergo a 7-day compulsory quarantine and 2 negative Covid-19 tests before being cleared. While this will be okay for the rest of the cricketers who will travel to UAE, many Australian and English stars will miss the opening week. A limited-overs series between the two nations is scheduled to end on 16th September in England and the players will travel immediately to play the cash-rich league. As a result, the stars will be forced to miss the starting week of the league which could have up to 2-3 matches per team.
