Telecom operators body Cellular Operators Association of India has requested the Central Board of Film Certification to revoke the certification for the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar-starrer film 2.0. The telecom body raised concerns after the trailer for the film shower cellphone towers in a bad light. The report further states that COAI also caller the content of the film "defamatory" & said that such depiction would create unfounded fear and mass paranoia
