Team India selectors to get a 3-year term?

Dec 03, 2019 13:19 IST

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly feels that a 4-year long tenure for the national selectors is too long and should be reduced to a 3-year cycle. Earlier, the BCCI was reported to be reducing the tenure of the selectors from a period of 4 years from the existing 5. Earlier the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators had increased the tenure from 4 to 5 years but the BCCI is in a mood to roll back most of the Committee's decision. Dada confirmed that a 3-year tenure can keep things fresh and in perspective.
