Union Tourism and Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel told IANS in an interview that the Taj Mahal will now remain open even after 6.00 p.m. The public will be able to access the beautiful monument for a night tour. The Tourism Ministry is planning to illuminate the area and develop the infrastructure required to deal with the night rush. However, only 400 tourists will be allowed per day for the night excursion.
