The boy who opened fire in the Jamia area on Thursday, injuring one student has turned out to be a minor. According to the information available on his Aadhaar and his Class X mark sheet he was born on April 8, 2002. The Delhi Police has taken the accused into custody and is interrogating him. On the Union Home Minister orders, the probe into the firing incident has been entrusted to Special CP of the Delhi Police. According to a report by NDTV, he left home in the morning saying he was going to school. Somehow, instead of his school at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh, he landed up at the protest with a gun in his pocket.
