In a legal victory for the centre, the Supreme Court has declined to interfere with or monitor the ongoing probe into the PNB loan fraud case. The court also refused to order a SIT probe into the circumstances under which jeweller Nirav Modi fled the country. Attorney General KK Venugopal, who appeared for the govt, said there is no need for the court to intervene.
