Stella McCartney's Spring Summer 2020 collection at the Paris Fashion Week was her most sustainable one ever. All the garments were made from materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, sustainable viscose and traceable wool. New raffia bags were made by female artisans in Madagascar using local raffia from communities working to support conservation. McCartney dedicated the collection to all the free-spirited, risk-taking women in the world. Circular symbols that represented femininity dominated the runway. The power suit was reimagined with pleated, slashed trouser skirts.
